Sziasztok!

Pesten élek, napi 8 órában angol környezetű multinál dolgozom. Évek óta olvasok, hallgatok, fordítok angolt. Egy időben a youtube feliratok fordítása kötött le, de vettem részt játék illetve IOT (webes) fordítóként is nyílt forrású projektekben. Illetve a google fordítónak is van egy javaslattevő rendszere, ott is sokat segítettem egy időben. Kicsit beszélek németül is. Igazán a nyelvi érzékem nem a fő erényem, nem ez a munkám, nagyjából csak egy munka utáni kikapcsolódás, levezetés. Ennek megfelelően nem leszek nagyon-nagyon termelékeny. Igyekszem majd szakmába és érdeklődési körömbe jól illeszkedő tartalmakat fordítani. Zeneelméleti, mérnöki és tudományos területek fognak érdekelni. Az első linuxos wikikkel anno játszottam, telepítettem saját szerveremre, használtam valamire, úgyhogy nagyjából rémlik miről van szó, de évek óta nem foglalkoztam vele, nem voltam aktív tagja a wikipédiának. Majd most. :)

I am living in Budapest, Hungary. I am working full time at one of the biggest multi-cultural company, so I am writing, reading and talking in English daily. There was a time, when I translated a lot of youtube captions from english to hungarian just for fun or to improve my vocabulary and language skill. Also, I was involved in game and IOT localization in open-source projects. Ich spreche auch ein bißchen Deutsch. ;) Ok, well.. I am not a perfect language guru, this is not my job, it's just a relaxation by the end of the day. Therefore, I guess the productivity may be lower than expected. I'll try to do my best on translation of field on my profession and interests. Music-theory, engineering, science topics will be the focus of my attention. More than a decade ago, on the first available linux version of wiki/twiki I've a sand-box on my server, so and I was using it. May be I could remember things... But I was never a part of the wikipedia team before. Then now... :)
