English: A kneeling black granite statue of the vizier Paser, who served under the powerful Egyptian kings Seti I and Ramesses II. This statue was found from the great temple cachette of Karnak. It dates to the reign of Ramesses II (1279-1213 BCE) of the 19th dynasty during the New Kingdom of Egypt.

Paser appears in this statue carrying an altar topped by a ram's head, the symbol of Amun Ra , Lord of Karnak. Paser lived during the reign of Seti I, where he held the title of the sole companion of the king and other various positions such as the royal palace advisor and the governor of the city of Thebes. Under the reign of Ramses II, he became a judge, a seal bearer and a deputy of the king in Nubia, where he supervised the construction works of the temple of Abu Simbel. He also assumed the position of high priest and overseer of the Karnak temple until his death in Year 25 of Ramses II. This object is today currently located in the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Cairo where is museum catalogue number is CG 42156 (JE 37388).
